If a movement is not replicated outside the gym, in everyday life, you won’t find it inside The Cell. No part of the body works in isolation, we do not isolate. I came to CrossFit from a background of over 35 years of strength training and power lifting, and a lifetime of competition, training for competition, studying nutrition, training methodology – I’ve had a lifetime of passion for fitness, strength and getting the best from my body.
CrossFit Base is located in Canberra, ACT. Affiliated with CrossFit inc. and Weightlifting ACT, we specialize in CrossFit, Olympic weightlifting and Sports specific strength and conditioning.
At theMill we train with like-minded and committed individuals who are looking to serve something other than themselves. Individuals who see fitness as a vehicle to enable themselves greater capacity for more responsibility, greater accountability and therefore more meaningful contribution to their family, friends and community.
Graeme believes that age is no barrier to being fit, strong and healthy. Known affectionately as ‘the Fossil’ Graeme is an inspiration to young and old alike. His favourite t-shirt reads “The older a fossil is, the harder it becomes”. He believes that a healthy body comes from useful exercise, unadulterated food, adequate rest, and the development of mental toughness.
